Another Way to Sell Designer Purses

Hi again, everyone! Thanks again for taking the time to ready my blog. I hope you're planning your first designer purse party.

I want to deviate just a little bit from previous designer purse party posts and tell you another way you can make money with designer purses. Once you have the source I mentioned for designer purses at true wholesale prices, you have lots of options for making money. Here's a link again to that source: Designer Purses at True Wholesale Prices.

Why not sell your designer purses on Ebay? Your designer purse party business and your Ebay auction business could be nice compliments to one another and would give you an additional source of revenue.

If you review completed auctions on Ebay for designer purses, I think you'll be impressed with how well they sell. Just look at what this Prada designer purse is being sold for. You can bet this seller's going to be a happy camper once that purse is sold! There's always a demand for these high end purses and you'll have an advantage knowing how to get designer purses at the best prices. You could even set up an Ebay store selling designer purses.

You'll want to establish yourself as an expert on designer purses as there are lots of fakes and replicas out there and you have to let your potential customer know that you know your stuff. I'll be covering some of the ways to determine if a designer purse is legitimate in future posts. In the meantime, you may want to spend some time in the stores that sell these purses becoming familiar with the fine craftsmanship of a legitimate designer purse. You can learn a great deal this way.

My suggestion would be to spend a little time surfing around on Ebay and see what's being sold at what price so you can get a feel for the market. I think you'll quickly see the designer purse business can be quite lucrative!

Thanks again for reading and we'll continue to explore the world of designer purse parties in our next post.

How to Sell More at Your Designer Purse Party

I have to tell you about a little trick that may help you sell more purses and wallets at your designer purse party. If you're just tuning in, be sure to go back through my previous posts that show you how to get started hosting your first designer purse party.

Remember how I suggested you carry a selection of wallets at your party? Well, here's a clever way to increase sales of the wallets. Before the show starts, fold up a prize which could be a $10.00 or a gift certificate and hide it within one of the compartments of the wallet. Make sure you fold it very small so it can't be found when people are casually looking at the wallets.

When the party starts, announce to your guests that one wallet has a $10.00 prize (or gift certificate) hidden inside. If they purchase that particular wallet, they get to keep the hidden prize. You can bet this will definitely increase the interest your guests have in purchasing a wallet. People love free prizes! You could also do a variation by hiding a gift certificate inside one of the compartments of a designer purse that's for sale.

There are lots more ideas for generating sales excitement at your purse parties. I'll be getting in to more of these at a later time.

Don't forget to check our this resource that shows you how to get your designer purses at true wholesale prices.

Thanks again for reading. :-)

More Details to Make Your Designer Purse Party a Success

Hi everyone! Congratulations! You've made a ton of progress towards planning your first designer purse party. Now, let's get down to planning some of the details that will make your party even more successful.

The object of your designer purse party is not only to sell designer purses, but also to recruit OTHERS to have designer purse parties for you. To do that, you're going to need to do two things:

1. Build up enthusiasm among your attendees for hosting their own designer purse party.

2. Get contact information from as many of your party attendees as possible.

The best way to accomplish both of the above is to have a contest to give away a smaller item such as a designer wallet.

To enter the contest, your attendees would be required to fill out a form (which includes their contact information) and check a box indicating whether they'd be interested in hosting their own designer purse party. They would then place their entry into a designated box so a winner can be picked at the end of the party. You should have the wallet nicely next to the box with the entry forms so it can be easily seen.

To make your wallet give away even more desirable, you can buy one of those clear acrylic boxes you sometimes see in jewelry stores to place over the wallet to give it a look of extreme value. Display it on a black velvet pedestal with the acrylic riser covering it and it'll look similar to what you would see in a very high end designer purse store.

To build up suspense, I would hold off on drawing the winning name for the wallet until the party is almost complete. Be sure to hang on to all of those entry forms so you can copy each attendee's contact information down and whether or not they're interested in hosting a designer purse party. I would also include a space for an email address on the form so you can keep them updated on future parties.

In our next post, we'll discuss the details of how to conduct your party. How to occupy your guests, get them into a buying mood, and much more. Stay tuned. :-)

P.S. By the way, if you still haven't found a source for your designer purses, you owe it to yourself to take a look at this.

Getting Down to the Details of a Designer Purse Party

Hi everyone! Be sure to start with my previous posts since they show you step-by-step how to get started with your first designer purse party.

In our last post, you made your list of designer purse party invites and prepared your invitations. Now that you've sourced your designer purses and have your invitations mailed, it's time to talk about the details of your first party.

It's always a good idea to offer food, although you don't have to offer something elaborate. I find that offering sliced vegetables and dip as well as potato chips for dipping along with a simple dessert works well. Add some soft drinks and coffee and your have a food and drink selection that should please most people. Once you start getting your RSVP's, you should know how much food to prepare. I would recommend adding some extra food since some attendees may bring along a friend. Better to have a little too much food than too little.

I remember one of the parties I hosted had almost twice the number of attendees I had expected since many people brought along a friend. I was just glad to have had that extra food available! Having food is important as it can help to put people into a jovial, buying mood and is also an excellent icebreaker.

Once you've planned your food, you'll want to consider how to display your purses. I generally use two large tables that are a bit taller than your average card table so people don't have to look too far down to view the purses. I would cover the table with an attractive covering such as a rich piece of black velvet. Don't skimp on this! Your display will reflect upon the value of your product. If you're selling designer purses, you want your display to look elegant. Space the purses nicely on the table, so they're not crowded together. If you're selling wallets, display them interspersed among the purses in a pleasing manner.

You may want to add to the mood, by framing photos of models carrying hip designer bags and have them resting on stands on your table. Also be sure to have a big book and pen for people to sign if they'd like to be on your mailing list or would like to host their own designer purse party. I would also have a business card holder full of your cards so people can contact you about being hosts for your designer purse party business.

Tomorrow, we'll continue down the path of hosting your first designer purse party. Have a fantastic evening. :-)

Preparing for Your First Designer Purse Party

Hi again, everyone! Now that you have a reliable source for your designer purses, we're ready to prepare for your first designer purse party. If you don't have your source yet, read back through the previous posts. I believe the best source for designer purses is this one. Using this resource you'll be able to buy DIRECT rather than pad the pockets of some middleman, or worse yet end up paying retail prices.

Are you ready to give your first designer purse party. I would start by gathering around 15-20 purses to sell as well as around 10-15 wallets. Sometimes having fewer pocketbooks can boost sales because you can let people know you only have a certain number to sell and if they like it they need to buy it right away. I'll tell you how to set up your display to best maximize your sales shortly.

Start by writing down the names of 15-20 friends and family members who are at least somewhat fashion conscious. Who doesn't need a nice purse to carry? Plan on allowing each friend or family member you include on your list to invite one other person to come with them. This gives you the potential for 30-40 people, but most likely you'll have no shows which will bring your number of attendess to around 20. If it looks like you're going to have this many people at your first show, you may need to add another 10 purses or so to make sure there's a good selection.

Once you have your list established, buy a set of cards that have a purse motif on the front. If you can't find these cards locally, you can buy a rubber stamp with a purse motif at your local craft store and stamp each card with the image of a purse. Another option is this site that has adorable cards designed specifically for purse parties. Just click on "purse party tools".

Once you have your list picked finalized, it's time to fill out your cards and mail them. An example of something you might write inside could go something like this:

Come bring a friend and join me for a night of food and fashion! This is your opportunity to see and try on a variety of beautiful designer purses and maybe even take one home. This is your chance to see and try designer purses in the latest styles plus enjoy light desserts and coffee. It'll be a night of fun, friendship and fellowship. Hope you can join us. Please feel free to invite a friend, but limit it to one since this is an exclusive invitational event. Hope to see you there!

Please RSVP within the next 7 days.

Your friend,
xxxxxxxx

Please feel free to copy this word for word if you feel so inclined.

Now that you have your invitations ready to go, it's time to mail them out. We'll discuss the details of displaying your purses and many more details in our next few posts. Have a great evening. :-)

Let's Host Our First Designer Purse Party!

Hi everyone! I know you're anxious to give your first designer purse party. I have a friend who just gave a party and she made $640! Not bad for one night's work. Admittedly, she does everything right. She gets great prices on her designer purses so her profit margins are high. Plus, she gives great parties and always has several people who want to sign up to give their own designer purse party by the time the night is over.

If you don't have a source for purses as of yet, I'll tell you about two options. One is this resource which I previously mentioned. The other is a low cost and easy way to get started in the purse party business, but you won't be dealing with designer purses. This site specializes in starting you up in the purse party business and even give you a training manual. This might be an inexpensive way to test the waters, so to speak. Here's their link.

Ultimately, I would aim towards sourcing your own designer purses where you can offer the highest quality product at the every best profit margins. I would suggest taking some time now to look over some of these purse sources. Another place you can check are Ebay stores where you can sometimes find wholesale lots of designer purses. Here's a link to an Ebay store that has designer replica purses at what appears to be a good price. I can't vouch for the quality. Be careful out there!

Spend a little time exploring the world of purses for your first designer purse party and I'll start giving you a step-by-step plan for planning your first designer purse party on the next post. By the way, I would start with about two dozen purses and half a dozen wallets or so for your first party. You don't want to start out with too much inventory until you have a few succesful parties under your belt.

I'll be back with more designer purse party step-by-step info early next week. Have a great weekend. :-)

Make Money Hosting a Designer Purse Party

Do you love designer purses, parties, and money? Wouldn't it be nice to combine your three loves into a super successful business? A designer purse party business can be lots of fun and quite lucrative. Plus, you can recruit OTHER people to host a designer purse party while you supply them with the purses.

Over the next few weeks, I'm going to tell you how to get started in the designer purse party business, how to market your new business, how to recruit others to sell for you, and the most important thing of all, how to find sources for authentic designer purses at true wholesale prices.

Don't make the mistake of buying from a so called online wholesale of designer purses since their prices are often inflated. (they're actually closer to retail prices). If the prices seem too good to be true, they're probably replicas. When is the last time you saw a true wholesaler of designer purses advertising on the internet? The easier it is to find a source, the more likely it's not a legitimate source.

I'll let you in on an online book that'll show you how to find your own sources for designer purses for your first designer purse party. The person who wrote this book struggled for a year to find designer purse sources and will share with you how they did it as well as give you their actual sources. You can take a peek at it here.

Let me know what you think. In my next post I'll continue giving the information you need to be successful in the designer purse party business. Until we talk again, if you'd like more information, go to my Squidoo lens. Have a great evening. :-)
